Jeff Fields Wins National Award for Preventing Teen Suicide

The National Association of Realtors® today announced Jeff Fields, with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty in Scottsdale, as one its five 2020 Good Neighbor Award winners. As a volunteer and past board president of nonprofit Teen Lifeline, Fields has served more than 28,000 youth through a peer-to-peer teen crisis hotline while providing community education on suicide prevention.

NAR’s Good Neighbor Awards honor 10 Realtors® annually for making an extraordinary impact on their communities through volunteer work. Over the past 21 years, the Good Neighbor Awards program has awarded nearly $1.4 million in grants to more than 200 Realtor®-led nonprofits. Their impact has been felt in 40 states, 15 countries and in Puerto Rico. 

Our Good Neighbor Award winners leave a remarkable impact on their communities every year, but everything these Realtors® have done in 2020 is even more impressive and more commendable. I am proud to honor Jeff Fields for dedicating his time and passion to giving hope to teens who had none.”

Arizona’s leading luxury real estate brokerage, Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty (RLSIR), is proud to present the most significant August sales featuring everything from panoramic mountain views to historical masterpieces and one-of-a-kind custom estates. 

The first sale topping the list is located 11004 E Feathersong Lane. This extraordinary home was sold by Allan MacDonald of the RLSIR Pinnacle Peak office for $8,250,000 earning its spot as the highest August sale for RLSIR. With a premier location in Scottsdale’s Silverleaf neighborhood, this home offers gorgeous panoramic mountain and city light views from every room and grand living spaces with generous covered outdoor living spaces appointed with the finest details and finishes. The third highest sale was a Mediterranean designed home perched high up on the prestigious Upper Canyon of Silverleaf in Scottsdale. Joanie Barreiro of the Desert Mountain office represented the buyer in the purchase of 11173 E Feathersong Lane for $6,050,000. This 6 bedroom, 6.5 bathroom home includes luxury features such as a walk-out lower level guest retreat accessible via elevator, game room, pool and BBQ, 5 car garage and an abundance of natural lighting with views from nearly every room. 

The fourth home on the list is an extraordinary contemporary masterpiece located in the village of Saguaro Forest in Desert Mountain. This 2018 Lee Hutchison designed home built by Dick Lloyd was sold for $5,025,000. Nancy Sertich, Dena Bullard, Tim Floor, Shawn Rimer, Katie Fisher, Kirk Marshall and Keith Marshall of the Pinnacle Peak and Desert Mountain offices represented the seller and the buyer. The home is located at 9847 E Chiricahua Pass. The estate property was designed with a modern flow that offers open free-flowing living between inside and out. 

The fifth highest sale to round out August’s significant sales is a magnificent and chic modern designed home situated on the 17th hole of The Estancia Club offering sunset, golf course and Pinnacle Peak views. Debbie Negrin, Jay Pennypacker, and Will Foote of the Pinnacle Peak office represented the seller and the buyer. They sold the home for $3,950,000. This 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home located at 10247 E Running Deer Trail offers a unique architectural blend of poured-in-place concrete, glass, steel and an ideal great room floor plan.

After graduation from UCLA, Carey Devlin’s professional career began with Sony Pictures, where she worked in various motion picture & sitcom post-production positions. Relocating from LA to the Palm Springs area to raise a family, she worked from home as a children’s television writer.

She returned to outside business in 2007 as a  REALTOR® with Prudential CA Realty and then Bennion Deville Homes. Being in real estate for over a decade, Carey’s completed hundreds of deals and has an extensive database of satisfied clients.

Always helping friends and clients with creative projects, Carey launched her own design/development firm, successfully managing numerous commercial and residential projects.
