Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to announce the promotion of Stephanie Stewart from Director of Finance and Operations to Chief Operating Officer (COO)—a strategic leadership appointment that reflects the company’s continued investment in operational excellence, long-term growth, and trusted internal leadership.
Stephanie’s career is defined by both depth and versatility, blending financial expertise, real estate insight, and steady leadership. After moving to Arizona following high school, she earned her degree from Northern Arizona University and began her professional journey in banking and mortgage—experience that sharpened her skill in financial strategy and business operations. She later gained additional professional experience in Southern California and Nebraska before returning home to Arizona.
What many may not know is that Stephanie’s career began in an unexpected place: the fashion industry in Los Angeles. That early chapter reflects what has remained true throughout her career—an eye for detail, strong discipline, and the ability to bring structure and vision to everything she touches.
In 2000, she joined Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty as an agent and quickly stood out for her dedication and leadership. Over the years, she advanced through key corporate roles, including her promotion to Controller in 2016, where she streamlined processes and improved efficiency across the company. In October 2024, she was appointed Director of Operations and Finance, leading financial strategy and key operational initiatives.
Now, as COO, Stephanie will oversee a broader scope of organizational operations, strengthening systems, internal alignment, and sustainable growth across every office and department.
Outside of work, Stephanie is known for her vibrant personal life and strong connections. She loves to travel with friends and family and always has something planned. Recently, she’s been enjoying the excitement of decorating and organizing her newly remodeled home. When she needs to recharge, you’ll often find her taking a long walk with a podcast—or turning up 80’s music and dancing it out. Her favorite simple joy? Curling up with her two dogs and a great movie (or a British detective show).
In addition to her corporate leadership, Stephanie has served as President of the Russ Lyon Foundation since 2022, helping guide the company’s philanthropic mission and strengthening its impact across Arizona.
